I think that we all saw why Rauno isn't playing much. He seems to get distracted and lose his man for large stretches of time. Dude needs to focus on his man.

FVV is a thorn in the flesh to our various foes from the State of Illinois. He wants them to take notice that he is indeed a king-pin quarterback for us on both sides of the hardwood. We are truly blessed as Shocker fans to have not only such a superb point guard, but also he is a third of this 3-headed Shocker monsta that leads us to so many victories.

Gutty win, defense was there, we struggled on offense tonight, give some credit to Loyola they really played us tough on the perimeter, and were doubling up down low when we got it inside. We did miss some bunnies, but I thought we hurried things alittle because of there defense. Fred really had a great game, and Glass has given us some nice minutes off the bench, he really has a nice shot and if his defense keeps improving he could be a nice bonus down the stretch. I was listening this afternoon to Jim Rome, and then The Doug Gottlieb show came on and I usually turn it off but I was working outside so I thought what the hell. At the end of his show he said the NCAA was looking into the Syracuse Basketball program, then he said they were also looking into Wichita State. I had a pain in the gut when I heard that, of course I know he just loves to spread anything negative about us. Been looking online but havent seen or heard anything. Is he full of **** (well we know the answer to that ) Anyone know anything?

Ya, coach went a little overboard with this, even mentioning it on the post game show. You can't ask two kids, one only about 3 feet tall to 100% pay attention. Like everything else at the Chuck these kids are part of a sponsorship package. If you want total focus from the broom crew then hire adults and require them to be engaged enough to be "Johnny on the spot."

I knew the baseball got a slap on the hand for the clothing fiasco but Gottlieb made it sound like it was the basketball program, and even said that we went to the final four two years ago and went undefeated last year during the regular season, and that we were in the top 25 this year and was wondering how this would effect us going forward. If thats the case he is a bigger ***** than I thought he was.
