When will people learn? Play Shockers more, and you will win more. Hope all those other guys enjoyed the PT and the loss.

Just because we're talking about the PIT, Tuttle's first game he went 0/6, 0 pts, 4 rebounds in 19 minutes.
Second game 0/3, 0 pts, 7 rebounds in 27 minutes.

His team plays at 3:15 this afternoon (I assume that is EDT). It will be interesting to see if Darius gets more minutes today.

I watched the last three minutes of that game. DC was on the floor but didn't do anything. The other team won on a crazy last-second three from a guy that shot an awful percentage from beyond the arc this year. I thought the announcers said he was a 10% 3FG shooter.

Will DC graduate or has he graduated?

Darius had 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks in 26 minutes in Friday afternoon's game that his team won 92-78.

Apparently, Detroit's Juwan Howard Jr is his team's designated chucker. In 2 games he is 5-24 from the field including 2-11 three pointers.

Tuttle thrives in a sophisticated offense. I doubt he's playing in one at the PIT.

Just what is sophisticated about the UNI offense? tPlease describe it. It looks to me like they are doing the same pick and roll, pick and pop as others.

sophisticated? or extremely well-practiced and experienced gimmicky offense?

I wouldn't talk to much trash, it seemed to work pretty well against us last year.

Poor word choice. He is very good in the offense that was run at UNI where multiple shooters move into position to hit the three when the entry pass is made.

It's always important to talk trash about your rivals, especially in years when they are a worthy adversary :)

Not sure if this one got relayed onto shockernet yet. It's from a June 20th write-up about Tekele Cotton from Paul S.

"Former Shocker Darius Carter will play for the Denver Nuggets in the Las Vegas Summer League. Las Vegas games start on July 10 and all 67 are shown on NBA TV with 23 teams and the D-League represented. Carter, a 6-foot-7 forward, is preparing in Wichita.“I’m doing a lot of conditioning stuff, making sure I’m in shape,” he said."
