I thought it was a really really classy move and is one more reason I love our coach.
That doesn't make sense. According to Redturd fans, Marshall is the Anti-Christ.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

I agree completely. I don't see many games live. Watching live, the defense we play is much more impressive than on TV. Also, noticed that when FVV was on the bench, he is coaching almost as hard as Marshall. Impressive game on many levels today.

Blake is more of a Matt Clark type. He is averaging more points than TC, so he's not horrible.

        • Brown and Kelly were not good today. Need them to complete this team.

I actually thought both were quite good in the first half. Second half was a little rough for both of them.

I thought Brown was fine until the two traveling calls. Looked like he would have been okay following his instincts and busting it to the hoop. Instead he hesitated, thinking, and traveled. Sometimes you just go with the God given.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

              • I couldn't have asked for a better day. Both of my teams had their best and most complete game of the year.

                • Saw some continued progress in the post, offensively, defensively, and on the boards. The fact that it continued to improve while on the road makes it even better.

I think that's true. Kelly had moments as well. Back to back TOs may have skewed my memory slightly.

                    • In the past 3 games, Cotton has faced 3 of the league's premiere offensive threats in Doyle, Beane, and Balentine. Those 3 scored a combined 34 points on 37 shots. They shot 35%, 11% from 3, and only attempted 11 total FTs.

Tekele Cotton is back. And I love it. I do not think it is a coincidence that the team is starting to look better on the court, and the big men have seen reduced foul trouble.

In his post-game interview 3G suggested that the freshman may not enjoy the game film breakdown when they discuss turnovers.

                              • Well, that certainly isn't what they were hoping for in Terre Haute coming into today.

A real wowser by the Shocks -- how long has it been since WSU dominated a reasonably capable team so thoroughly as they did the Aces? Need to bring that same intensity and purpose to Springfield in case the Bears try to make good on their countdown and show that the absence of Mighty Marcus hasn't put them in hibernation.

Darius is locked in, Shaq is starting to play more often than not like a guy with a year of experience in the program and an opportunity to step into, and the defense is starting to assert itself. And how about Wessel annoying UE for 32 minutes, or FVV snagging five (!) boards in 17 minutes? Once Baker gets his shot back to stay, this could get pretty good.

Memo to the rest of the Valley: regardless of whatever talent you may have 1-12, don't sleep on WSU.
