I vote we do the same thing we did last year. Give the ball to Baker or FVV. Run ball screen offense. Watch Evansville switch on the screen a million times. Continue until Simmons is guarding Baker or FVV. Take layup.

Evansville is pretty decent this year. Hooray for the Valley. All four of their losses have been by single digits. The teams they've lost to have a combined winning % .680 I believe and obviously, they're at home and like the rest of the Valley teams, will give us their best shot because they want their 15 minutes.

We lack the front court presence of year's past. DJ is going to think Darius is playing out of position and Shaq is just a Frosh with lots to learn. He's going to drive us to death, getting us in foul trouble or get his mates wide open looks from 3 on the dribble drive kick out.

Did you know they rank 3rd in the nation in FG%? They are shooting a whopping 51% from the field and they are ranked 9th in the nation in Assists. They shoot better than us, they make FTs better than us and their 3 point FG percentage is on par with us.

This game is probably going to be close for the duration except for the last 6 minutes when one team makes a run to separate and win. EU will have leads of 7 or 8 as will we at different times. I don't think we're going 18-0 in the MVC this year, so I'm going to say weeeeeeeee win this one 67-61 and lose somewhere else down the line.

I'm not sure why people are saying if we put Cotton on Balentine, that will automatically solve the problem. Balentine has seemed to average 20 points against us every time we play. This game has me a little worried. But it's helpful that we're starting to come out of our slump.
