See my post above. What had FVV and Baker done at this point of their freshmen years to produce?

Forming strong opinions about freshmen halfway through the season when you're going to have them for four years is just silly. These aren't McDonalds All Americans that are expected to adjust to the college game from day one, and better since they're going to the NBA at the end of the year. This is a learning process.

But to have the same expectation of our freshmen now means they would have to be all-americans right now because we have an all-american at the 1 and 2 spot. Demetric was good, but Baker is better. Just because Baker hasn't been beat out of his starting spot by one of our freshman doesn't mean that our freshmen aren't going to be good.
