Loyola adjusted to our overplays by driving and dishing. We are in zero foul trouble and the Refs don't seem to be calling anything so I would hope we trap the **** out of them this half.

Maybe, maybe not. Right now Loyola sure isn't buying into that thinking. Hopefully, neither are the Shocks.

I was not as impressed with Loyola as I was disappointed in us. Maybe Loyola has a little do with that, but it's mostly our own doing.

It's awesome seeing Evan Wessel getting so many minutes. Those two hustle plays he makes each game totally make up for his horrid defense, bad shooting, and lack of rebounding.

I was especially frustrated with his terrible play during the Hawaii tournament. It's like he wasn't even there.

BTW, Evan's the third best rebounder on the team, behind Carter/Kelly.

They have one halfway decent paint player, who picks up 2 quick fouls. He is replaced by a 6'6" 190 lb freshman from Iowa and we pounded the ball into the paint twice the rest of the half.
That describes WSU's post ability in one sentence.
