I just don't see how Cal gets his team of 18 and 19 year olds up for every away game against the SEC.

That might be how he is coached. I don't know. I do believe the Redbirds are coached to follow theirs.

Hate to resurrect this thread but most of the redbird fans are talking about Teddy returning and how he will have 3 1/2 years to improve. With his history in academics how many on here thinks he will finish/graduate at isu-r

1 vote here that he will not spend 4 years at ISU. Maybe he should consider the educational program that North Carolina offers!

I can understand why people would think that's an illegal screen or a cheap shot, but that's just a good hard screen. Nothing illegal about it. Screener stayed within his legal space.

If I'm baker I'm ripping my teammates for not talking on defense and letting me know the screen was coming. Hopefully HCGM sends a message in the locker room

The inability of some members on this board to tolerate differing opinions is just sad. I pray that this attitude stays contained to a small number of posters. Nothing will turn a vibrant message board into a ghost town quicker than when the “agree with me or shut up and leave” crowd starts to become too dominant.

Re-watched the game today; it appeared to me that our rebounding problems basically consist of not block out. We are going to the ball without block out a man first. The rebound goes over our head and to the opposing player that we should have blocked out. I remember the day when we blocked out so well that many rebounds would hit the floor.

The best thing to come out of that incident is seeing all of the Redbird fans rush to his defense. Just imagine what redbirdfan.net would like if Marshall got caught in this kind of controversy. They don't even try to hide their hypocrisy.

To be fair, I don't think it's a big deal. If not for one obviously over-the-top and mildly (at most) offensive phrase that happened to get caught on tape, we should probably be applauding his action. His player was an a-hole, and when he found out about it, the coach ripped him a new one.

Poor choice of words? Yep. Maybe not the best phrase when trying to instill sportsmanship.

But at the end of the day, at least he was flying off the handle for the right reason.
