Before the SIU game the team was going through shooting drills from the block with a kid passing the ball to them down the key. He made a bad pass over Shaq's outside shoulder instead of into his hands and Morris was pissed. Next time through the line Shaq took the pass and shot a pass straight back at the kids face. Kid, not expecting it, still caught it and passed back to Shaq. Who again fired hard right back at his face (que kid's and teamate's faces of "wha' the heck?"). Third time he finally took his shot and rotated back out. I guess he made his 'point'. Though it looked like Glass ( I believe it was Glass) had a few words with him over what he did.

I was 8 rows deep in general admission / student section and it looked like the kid's coach was at the rail watching this as well.

After that I'm not going to be surprised by any attitude adjustments he may get into with Coach this season.

My hope for today is that Shaq wants to show Drake what they missed the first time. He goes out and plays hard, smart basketball, dominating the middle. Oh, and a double-double would be nice too!

Depends on if he only focuses on the favorable parts or the unfavorable parts. On the latter there apparently is still not a high level of confidence that Shaq will bring the effort and focus on a consistent basis. I see this article more along the lines of Brent Kemnitz' positive - negative - positive approach he descirbed in his CD.
