#16 WSU @ Drake Official Game Thread

I have to believe that we are gonna figure this **** out and start cruising again.

But what gets me is that we don't out hustle, out-tough, or just flat out act like we want it more than other teams.

That's different.

Yes, this it what I'm seeing as well, not a typical 3G angry type game. I love the way we always out hustle the other team. That hasn't been the case theses past six games.

Guys, we just don't have much of an athletic advantage this year (many times WSU is at an athletic disadvantage); therefore, it comes down to sharpness and attention to detail. With so many new guys and slumping vets this could become a very disappointing year.

After the first five games, the opposing coaches figured how to attack the weaknesses and without major improvements from the new guys I don't see this team clicking often.

I'm thinking our team is a bit too tightly wound right now. Haven't seen any smiles this year. Lufile reminded me of "Good News". Early averaged at least one or two smiles per game. Maybe we don't have that type of character this year. We're too tight....too tight.

Never fear. FSF is here. Nice to have a 4 POINT LEAD and Mr. Cotton was our main man. Notice we are fouling too much and getting 0 interior passes in good spots for our bigs. We got beat 19-14 on bounds? Really? Anywho, we are making some 3's but Drake only had 3 turnovers? We did get a few baskets penetrating and we need to draw fouls more and foul them much less. Baker is due 2nd half to break lose with some offense. Why do they out-rebound us and only have 3 turnovers? Shore that up and we will surpass them big!!!!!!!
