Good teams and coaches learn from their mistakes/defeats and we ARE a damned good team
that is well coached, therefore, it is Drakes' misfortune to get us after a rare loss.
WSU 67 - DU 51. Our guys don't like to lose. UNI there will be a tough one / toss up but I
don't expect any other losses until the very last game of the entire season.

The Shocks will either win by 30 or win by 3.

Wow, I am 44 and my belly is no where near the speed bump of those kids, who are in their prime; I hope they take better care of themselves. Really.

Yeah, if you can't spell, and you look like that shirtless, your future is not looking bright.

                  Comparison from StatSheet

"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I just want to see a lot of the freshman as well as our two JUCO guys to get a lot of minutes. Preferably not the walk-ons until the last minute or two of the game when we're up by 35. I'd like to see Zach Brown get 20ish minutes this game. The more experience guys like him get, the better off we are in March.

Have ya'll made any New Years Resolutions yet? There is only one I make every year that I follow through with and keep and that is predicting our Shockers to win every solitary game. What is fun about that is the accuracy % of overall wins we have had for around the past 5 Seasons. It almost can even make an eternal Shocker optimist look even more correct than Vegas when it came to our games last Season? I really wanted Louisville to beat Kentucky today in their home game but they could not shoot the ball as they can. Yes, Kentucky played some tough D. but Louisville missed too many shots they normally will make. It will be tough for WSU to run the table in the Valley at 18-0. Even so, it is a nice goal that rarely happens in the Valley. Has this feat of 18-0 have been done 2 Seasons in a row by the same team? Maybe, but I sure don't think so.

With our 2 looses now, it reminds us we still have plenty of work to do. However, with 8 new players, we for sure have not peaked and I see improvements as we march through the Valley and the Lew. Once we establish our big's inside, everything else should fall in place. Coach Marshall will keep us prepared, primed and ready.

Jans prep. work on scouting must have been great because we were sure prepared. He also was a solid recruiter. Even so, assistants that good need to chase their dreams and Coach Jans will be excellent. I sure like our other Coaches too. Cle also helped out of some tight spots in some Valley games as well where we won some close one. With all of that said, it will be interesting as the Valley race unfolds. 18-0 is attainable but winning the Valley is of essence, one win at a time. I'm thinking Valley teams could be licking their chops thinking we will be vulnerable this Season. Beating us will be harder than pulling hens teeth and we know they know all about the 1-3-1 zone,etc.. We have FVV, Baker, and Cotton to lead through anything and everything and we understand anything and everything will happen, especially on the cold and lonely road. I'm glad we start on the road and then to get some home-cookin going down here at 21st and Hillside. Our 8 new players are ready to rise to the occasions and make their presence known and utilized.

Has been felt. But if you have a top program, you expect your top assistants to leave. In fact in some ways it is a good problem to have. It means we are winning and our coaches are sought after.
