    This absolutely great stuff!

Now I'll put a little damper on it. The Valley isn't what it used to be so a quality team will find several more wins (thus higher %) available.

To look at it another way, here's the Margin of Loss for the regular season:

      Season Losses Margin of Loss
      2014-2015 2 2.5
      2013-2014 1 2
      2012-2013 9 6.1
      2011-2012 6 5.3
      2010-2011 8 5
      2009-2010 10 8
      2008-2009 17 9.2
      2007-2008 20 8.3

3G's teams rarely get blown out, particularly for the past five seasons, and most losses are well under the single digit variety. His teams are in most every game. The last true blow out was a 24 point loss to UNI in the 2008-2009 season with seven double digit losses. We had two double digit losses in 2012-2013 and one 10-point loss in 2011-2012.

The 2014-15 should be 3.5, 68-69 Utah and 54-60 GW.

A quick update of the KenPom ranks from the OP to see where we've stacked up against recent seasons to date:

              2010-11: 25 (offensive efficiency 30, defensive efficiency 40) - NIT Championship
              2011-12: 13 (offensive efficiency 14, defensive efficiency 31) - 2nd Round NCAA
              2012-13: 17 (offensive efficiency 30, defensive efficiency 25) - Final Four NCAA
              2013-14: 5 (offensive efficiency 8, defensive efficiency 12) - 3rd Round NCAA
              2014-15: 9 (offensive efficiency 16, defensive efficiency 13) - TBD NCAA

I would be interested to see where our defensive efficiency has ranked over just the games following the road loss to UNI. We were in the mid-40s then, so I am guessing we would have to be ~top 3 or 4 in defensive efficiency to see this kind of meteoric rise in the weeks since. Pretty incredible.

I want to give @Play Angry: props for being one of the most vocal people all year, even in the heat of the moment of losses where people lost their minds, about how good this team is and how much potential it had to be great by the end of the year.

after the upset loss at uni, wichita state didn't lose for five straight weeks and ended up with the mvc title.

uni put the shockers in a corner, and the shockers responded. after five weeks, well, i guess the shockers were due for another loss (mvc semifinals).
