WSU versus George Washington Predictions and Pregame Discusions
If WSU is scheduled to play at 7:30, how is that possible when the game before ours starts at 5:30 and plays on the same court? They give the teams 30 minutes of warmup before the start of the game, correct?
That would mean that our game would actually start at 8:00?
Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

That's what the schedules all say. Can't start before 8:00, I wouldn't believe.

▪ George Washington is No. 29 in the RPI, largely because its three losses are at Virginia, Seton Hall and Penn State, all top-40 RPI teams. The Colonials played a lot of 1-3-1 zone against Colorado, although coach Mike Lonergan called that a bit out of character.
The Colonials rebound hard, limit teams to 39.4 percent shooting and rarely foul. The same five players started all 11 games and six play 20 minutes or more. No other player averages more than 10 minutes a game.
Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein56m56 minutes ago Very weird that there's not a single CBB game on the slate today. Hoops junkies everywhere pointing towards GW-Wichita State on X-mas night!

The RPI may be a bit skewed by the losses, but they are also #46 overall in Kenpom and have the #18 adjusted defense (although only the #124 adjusted offense). When the field was announced, it looked like we could have multiple top 50 games, and Nebraska and Colorado (to a lesser degree) screwed that up, but GW has held up their end of the bargain. Should be a good game.
