I have a tremendous amount of respect for GWU. It is a top 100 academic institution, and they have a very good basketball program. If we are fortunate enough to win this game it may very well be another top 50 RPI victory for our NCAA portfolio. We will need to play a very good game in order to snatch a victory. Currently their RPI rank is 28 and it is projected to be 52. Their current RPI SOS rank is 60. They have a Pomeroy ranking of 46 (AdjO 124 and AdjD of 18). I expect them to be a very tough and aggressive defensive oriented team. I do wonder if we will match up better with them than Hawaii. Go Shockers!

My experience has been that the second match in tournaments is often a "down" match. I don't know why I see that so often. Maybe it's a drop in adrenaline after the first match? Regardless I often see teams that have a down match in their second game rebound to business-as-usual for their third match (assuming they have survived game two).
I'm hoping that pattern holds up. If so, we should win this. If not this going to be a battle royale.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

Not all that impressed after watching them play Colorado, but that was just one game. I expect them to play much better against us. Their 1-3-1 zone may give us fits for a few possessions. They don't appear overly athletic, and seem very deliberate in their half court offense.
Our guys are going to have to defend better than Tuesday night, and our guards HAVE to start making jump shots.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
