6-11 Stefan Jankvic, a transfer from Mizzou, became eligible last night. He only had 5 points and 3 boards but he's a difference maker for them, imho. Makes other players better, if for no other reason that being 6-11.

Does anyone have an idea of how many Shocker fans traveled to Hawaii? Last night Kennedy said that WSU by far had the most fans there, but tonight I heard Jason Perez say on the radio that it looked like there were 44 people at the game last night and 25 were Shocker fans. It was obvious Perez was exaggerating, but trying to get a feel of how many Shocker fans are really there.

I don't know much about Hawaii, other than their zone defense LAST year was getting lots of praise. I'm assuming they still utilize this form of defense. I'm going to say we win 64 to 59. This is a game where we could win by 25 or win by 1. If we're demolishing their zone by RB and crew nailing down the 3, then we'll boat race them. If we're struggling from the three, it's going to be a blue collar effort tonight for the win.

A little upset we won't be playing Nebraska since I'm currently residing in Nebraska. oh well, I'm just happy with an 8 pm game instead of 10!

I would guesstimate that ~90% of Nebraska residents couldn't even tell you who their basketball coach is. If they had survived last night and we beat them by 50 tonight it would akin to who can hear a bear taking a deuce in the woods, with regards to that fanbase's public awareness. If you were by happenstance to encounter Huskerfan after this hypothetical beatdown you would likely get a blank face and an agape mouth if you brought up the game in conversation. Huskerfan would then immediately segue into some sort of an Elmer-Fudd-level, football context response.
