  • WSU Versus HAWAII Predictions and Pregame Discussions

Here's the deal. After last night's game, we are running on fumes. I did not even know who won the Hawaii-Nebraska game until I read it here. This will be an actual road game for our road warriors. We got to utilize our bench last night in deeper fashion and had some bright spots in that process. Issac Fotu was projected as one of their top players at 6'8".

Hawaii might play a lot of zone, but the Shocks did well against a zone last night (at least the part I could stay awake for). A true road game is a different story though.

Sheesh, Hawai'i has 2 teams left on their schedule with a winning record right now....us and UC Davis. And we think the Valley is bad.

I guess we can look at it this way. Hawaii is actually more likely to be an NCAA tournament team than Nebraska...

Will this count as a true road game for the RPI & Selection Committee?

Coach Taylor has done a nice job with a weird situation this year, but we got this.

We will control tempo, win the turnover/assist battle, control the boards, and win by 20+.
Final margin dictated by how quickly we empty our bench.

This might be the toughest game of the tournament.

I hate the idea of a true road game, but our guys have been there done that.

                              Shox - 78
                              Hawaii - 56
