Sorry, everybody, but I think this game will be almost as ugly as Loyola Marymount. Not because Hawaii isn't good, but because we are a way better team and we just rested our starters for an entire 2nd half. We were always going to open a can on this tournament and it's not stopping today.
WSU - 85
Hawaii - 64
I'm not sure how much home court advantage can save them from this WSU team. Confidence will be really high after the bench got that much successful playing time yesterday.

Maybe I am naive, or I have been hitting the Shocker Kool-Aid but I am expecting a 18-20+ point win tonight against Hawaii.
Please read this with the following caveat: The Shocks must be prepared and not overlook anyone.
Hawaii is 9-3 with losses to High Point (54-62), San Francisco (73-88), and BYU (70-90). Wins have been against UA-Pine Bluff (85-57), CS-Bakersfield (72-65), Hawaii Hilo (89-71), Pitt (74-70), Marist (62-55), East Carolina (75-73), Delaware State (75-60), Chaminade (94-63), and Nebraska (66-58).
Pitt is an impressive win. In that game the warriors shot an eFG% 59.8, 60% is pretty good, but it's an aberration as the Hawaii averages 42.7 FG%.

Hawaii appears to be a pretty small team, and I believe they have 2 players on their roster taller than 6'6. Losing all Big West forward Isaac Fotu in the offseason after he was declared ineligible probably helped put them in that situation. The guards are the strength of their team, and I think this bodes well for us. I expect Darius to have a monster day down low, and look for Zach Brown to build on the flashes he showed last night. If we had to play Hawaii, I'm at least glad it now counts as an away game. Not sure what to expect crowd-wise from the home team.
