This might be the toughest game of the tournament.
    Think that will be GWU
Dominance is a state of mind.

I think a true road game is a decent replacement in lieu of a super strong, definitively top 20 opponent in the tournament.

I agree with this. As long as we get to the final game against either Colorado or GW, I think I might be just as happy about adding a road game to our schedule in what should be a good environment. Other than the name on the jersey, a road game with Hawaii (who isn't terrible) isn't really any worse than getting to face a possibly bad Nebraska team. Hawaii just needs to do well in their conference and they may be able to get close to 100 in the RPI this year. Nebraska might actually not be a top 100 team anyway. Road game against, let's say #150 is probably better than a neutral court game against #120. It's a pretty even deal, I'd say.

Valid point but there won't be 8,000 GW fans rooting against us.

Sorry, everybody, but I think this game will be almost as ugly as Loyola Marymount. Not because Hawaii isn't good, but because we are a way better team and we just rested our starters for an entire 2nd half. We were always going to open a can on this tournament and it's not stopping today.

                  WSU - 85
                  Hawaii - 64

I'm not sure how much home court advantage can save them from this WSU team. Confidence will be really high after the bench got that much successful playing time yesterday.

I was looking forward to us playing Nebraska... But they just don't deserve to play us... Christmas against Colorado would be nice

I agree. The ESPN box score has three of Hawaii's starters at 35 minutes. They've got a sixth man that was at 28 minutes. We had a bunch of guys right around 20 minutes. Hawaii's game also got over late, even for their time. I think we roll.

Maybe I am naive, or I have been hitting the Shocker Kool-Aid but I am expecting a 18-20+ point win tonight against Hawaii.

Please read this with the following caveat: The Shocks must be prepared and not overlook anyone.

Hawaii is 9-3 with losses to High Point (54-62), San Francisco (73-88), and BYU (70-90). Wins have been against UA-Pine Bluff (85-57), CS-Bakersfield (72-65), Hawaii Hilo (89-71), Pitt (74-70), Marist (62-55), East Carolina (75-73), Delaware State (75-60), Chaminade (94-63), and Nebraska (66-58).

Pitt is an impressive win. In that game the warriors shot an eFG% 59.8, 60% is pretty good, but it's an aberration as the Hawaii averages 42.7 FG%.

                          Go Shocks!

We do well when HCGM doesn't wear a tie, and our starters should be well rested, so I think a double digit win will take place. WSU - 81, Hawaii - 68.

Hawaii appears to be a pretty small team, and I believe they have 2 players on their roster taller than 6'6. Losing all Big West forward Isaac Fotu in the offseason after he was declared ineligible probably helped put them in that situation. The guards are the strength of their team, and I think this bodes well for us. I expect Darius to have a monster day down low, and look for Zach Brown to build on the flashes he showed last night. If we had to play Hawaii, I'm at least glad it now counts as an away game. Not sure what to expect crowd-wise from the home team.
