WSU Versus LMU Predictions and Pregame Discussions
If it is a "competitive" game, I fear it's because the Shocks are again having an off night shooting the ball. Athletically and talent wise, Shocks should make easy work of this team. They need to so they can save minutes and energy for Tuesday's game.
Per Suelletrop on Twitter
"Why did the #shockers leave Thursday for Hawaii? Travel delays. They are 22 hours behind schedule after spending last night in LA."
Geez Paul, you have an RSS feed to SN with keywords?

"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:
--------------------------------------- Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare: "We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said: "That's the definition of a stool sample."
I've seen that the team's flight was delayed? Anyone know if this is accurate?
Yes, but they all made it to Hawaii last night. Becky Endicott made this announcement to the High Hoops Club members during halftime of the women's game last night. She had just received a text message to that effect. That would have been around 8:00 pm CST.
What I don't know is whether they found a place to stay or just had to spend the delay in the airport.
Not the best way to be rested up for 3 games in 4 days but these guys are young and I they still have plenty of time to rest and recover.
I saw on twitter that most of the guys were relaxing taking a trip in the water and swimming with dolphins (including coahc marshall and another assistant in the picture, bigger bald white guy)
You don't want him playing if he's not at 100% full strength.
I agree with this. His X factor is his deceiving toughness, which helps compensate for his lack of size or scoring. If he isn't at full strength, he becomes a slower, really small PF who could be much easier to exploit.
I would imagine he could give us some decent, limited minutes to help with foul trouble or fatigue, though. He would sill be able to facilitate the offense in general because of his experience.
Rest Evan, save him for the Nebraska, Colorado games. Kelly has more than shown us that he's capable of filling in and giving us size, rebounding and scoring in the paint. Shaq and Rauno can back him up. Hopefully Evan will heal quickly, but bad ankle sprains can take some time to heal.Don't know much about LMU, Shocks by 30...
