      One or two free throws missed, 2 or 3 games lost by just a point or two, can mean the difference in going to the NIT vs. the NCAA..

      They are called FREE throws, but they shouldn't be wasted...

        I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this 6-days between games doesn't result in much improved FT shooting, as well as significant improvement in offensive execution. IMHO, the extra practices prior to the season and 9 games in 32 days has resulted in tired legs in many of our players, even Fred and Ron. With six days of no classes, relaxed time in the gym in addition to practices, I believe we will see a rejuvenated bunch of young men on Monday.
