As far as I'm concerned, I'd just as soon take them on in a game that matters, like the NCAA tournament. Where, BTW, we happen to have the upper hand, 1-0 Shox!
    Agree 100%

I guess I kind of understand the proposed logic of Bill Self. So then what is the logic behind A LOT of other big state programs playing smaller in-state schools. OU and OSU both regularly schedule Tulsa home-home. Colorado plays Colo St. Nebraska plays Creighton. Etc etc etc.

What you've shared on this forum doesn't correlate with that. Attended Augusta schools, went to college in Winfield, and now live in McPherson.

Are your parents likewise fans of crony capitalism, regular exercise of fire insurance policies as a tool of facility renovation, and generally unethical business practices?

I don't get this bizarre obsession you have. I was born at Wesley and attended Wichita public school through grade school before the family moved to Augusta where they still live. The rest is quite an astute biography!

So you haven't lived in Wichita in 30+ years?

Lots of things have changed since then. It's no secret that the Stevens have a negative connotation attached to them. That's not obsession, just realism.

            Stalker much?
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Obsession with you or the Steven clan?

Sorry about my perceived "obsession" with you (if so); I simply have a memory of facts and figures.

If you're talking about a perceived "obsession" with the Steven family, it is not an obsession. It is a collection of life experiences that is indicative of a trend line - a trend line that a lot of other people in Wichita have noticed over the years as well.

Are you biased in favor of the Stevens clan due to personal relationships, or just blissfully ignorant due to a lack of business interaction context?

I don't make it a point to know the moving history of those on this board for the purposes of attacking them for absolutely ridiculous reasons.

I'm struggling to see the relevance any of this has to this thread.

I'd be fascinated if you could explain to me how I have attacked wufan in this thread.

While this exchange is hilarious to me, i will make this statement and stop.

You challenged another poster on ever living in Wichita, insinuating that he is ignorant to the dynamics that a certain prominent family may have on the city.

                          That is an attack, imo.

Well, I only thought before this moment about the Steven family was that Spangles is overrated, Eddy's commercials are too loud, and that Craig can't shoot OR announce....:)

I haven't lived there in 10 plus years. I lived and worked in Wichita for two years after college. The Steven fan may be horrible, despicable people but this is third time Shockvalue has mentioned that in a totally unrelated topic.

We can debate the relevance of wufan living in Wichita, or Augusta, or Russia, or Mars, etc., but the comments above are not personal attacks. SHOCKvalue explained what he thought he remembered and left himself open to be corrected if he was wrong.
