Alabama has lost 15 straight road games, and they are 0-2 versus top 50 RPI teams this year. They look to be improved from last year after watching them in the CBE classic, but I'm not sure they have enough to beat us at Koch. They are a better free throw shooting team, but tomorrow it won't matter.

Likely best team we will play in the Non-Con. Other than at the PG they are big at every spot and have lots of size in the front court. Saw them a couple of times, basically took Iowa St. to the wire on a neutral court. Randolph is their best player and he is a 6'4" ish combo guard. This is a game where we will have to play well to win and we will have to play really well if we are going to blow them out as some on here have predicted.

I see this a 5-9 pt game with WSU winning in the final few minutes.

You are forgetting Utah. I think Seton Hall and George Washington will be right there with Bama too.

I think it'll be pretty close. One reason that comes to mind first is that we just played them last year. They have seen us and all our moves. I don't know how many of their players are returning from last years team....but if there are a few from last years squad...they will definitely guard us better. Would not be surprised in the least bit to see this game come down to the final possession.

JH4P, you are correct, forgot about Utah, or erased it from my memory. Correction Bama will be the 2nd best team we play in the non-con. Still think this game will be closer than many are predicting. Matching up with Bama will be a bit of an issue from a size perspective, no one else on our schedule presents this kind of issue for us.

Dan - speaking of "Spree"....is my memory still correct in remembering a Shocker win against his Top-15 ranked 'Bama team that also had Robert Horry??? And if so....didn't Horry break the goal on a dunk that stopped the game for like 30 minutes??? Those games from the 90's are starting to fade in my memory with all this new found Shocker success!
