    Over Florida St NIT game?

I was at both (last night and FSU), and the FSU game will remain in my memory as the longest sustained volume in CKA. It felt like the whole game was nothing but a roar (my memory's embellishment I suppose).

We still have plenty of loud moments in CKA, but as far as games being loud buzzer to buzzer I don't think we have today what we had in Turg's last years (again, my memory's embellishment probably). The fact that I was in the student section then, and now am obviously not, might have some impact on my perception.

    • The Creighton gamein 2006 is the loudest that I've been to. IThis may have something to do with my current seats, but Saturday's game was not quite as loud.

      • Baker's dunk was definitely louder than anything last year.

Of games I've personally experienced at HLA/CKA, I concur that the FSU NIT game was the loudest end to end, though I recall the game in the 86-87 school year against KU was pretty loud as well. There have been crazy loud moments to be sure, like Matty B's game winner against the Dirty Birds which felt like an exorcism, but I think I still am hoarse from the FSU NIT game.

I've heard that from many as well, but that game is before I started attending games in person. I would not doubt it may be the loudest ever.

[whistle] Technical foul on Kung Wu. "Biznatch" was not followed by a "thank you"

Please do better next time, thank you.

With each year that passes that game gets louder. The building could collapse from unprecedented decibels and some old timer would pop out of the bushes and say, "still not as loud as the Iowa game!"

                      • It was pretty loud during Rodriguez's FT in that VCU game.

                        • Regardless of which game was the loudest, its pretty awesome that we have so many to choose from, and a building that seemingly amplifies the noise. As loud as it gets in the seats, with the way the roof is shaped, it gets absolutely off the charts on the floor.

I had to walk up hill, in the snow, barefoot to get to that game!:eagerness:
