Loved the Carter-Kelly combo tonight. Amazing to see what DC can do if he plays a full game. I'm glad we got to play a bunch of our freshmen but they made it a little too close there at the end. We could've kept the starters in and won by 20 but we really let up on the throttle tonight. Another stud night for Ron. This may be our last year seeing him unfortunately.
Well, we didn't beat the Pirates as soundly as last time but team basketball on our part overwhelmed some one-on- one play on their part which netted them a whopping 6 assists.

What we had here tonight is our 3 headed guard monstas', a welcome back Carter who is foul free enough to score 16 points and 12 bounds(prolly his best game as a Shocker), with a twist of Kelly who not only sparked us in the 1st half but rebounds like a rock star!!! Kelly matched up great versus Seton Hall.

Liked the announcer's Conner Frankampf (sp) comments as to how he will be a real nice fit next year.
Kelly's 2 buckets seemed to right the ship.
CHJ's move to the hoop with the finish was nice and studly. He's really got the potential to be special too.
Shaq did not accidentally "dismantle" a referee tonite, hey it's all good!!!!
For some the glass is half full and for others half empty. My glass is out of ice.

Coach Marshall was happy with the 5 players I just mentioned but not so much with our other players. Great to see Fred go 8-8 on throws. While Whitehead is indeed very good, he learned tonight not to come in here at 21st. and Hillside thinking he would have his way with us. The Pirates lack of solid handles were exposed.Carter went sky-high in the 3rd heavens on that stuff!!! WOW!!!!!!!. Baker was shaking with 3-3 from three point land and baking as our high point man tonight.

Wichita State protected its house and dropped previously undefeated Seton Hall on Tuesday night. What did we learn in the process? Here are three things we noticed about the Shockers in the win.
That one "kid" they keep showing in the jersey I swear has been on the front row of the student section since at least 2006. I bet he audits a class, each year lives in his moms basement and plays video games all day. Lol
