The old Wu head was cracking me up during the intros. Wu looked like he slept wrong and had a kink in his neck.

A 5 foot tall cheerleader in the WU costume does not make an intimidating mascot.

Yeah, I saw him behind the scenes a couple of weeks ago getting dressed. Once he stood up, the top of Wu's head was level with mine and I stand 6 foot even.

The requirement to be Wu are that it must be a full time student with good grades. If anyone wants to be Wu they go through an interview and improv. They were advertising for new Wu people at the end of the year last year at games. If you want to fill the shoes of being a Wu, contact the cheer coach.

Using the larger old Wu head at the beginning of the game the poor girl couldn't even keep her head up, it was just weighing her down. They switched to a smaller, lighter throwback Wu head during the game.

I sure wish they could have resurrected the angry hula skirt Wu.

I've worn the different Wu heads, the older ones are insanely heavy. The team should wear them and do deadlifts to strengthen their back.

Wrong. Only the costume was different.

For the first few games, the person in the suit was all of 5 ft. tall. Now, the person appears to be significantly taller.
