What is really special about Baker and FVV, is how well they play on both sides of the floor. To me, looking at their performance on both sides of the court, they are the best guard combos in the

NCAA this Season.

I'm just thrilled to have Fred and Ron for whatever time we will have them.

Hopefully in the future, we have another tandem nearly as great or as great as they are.

I certainly hope we do, but the possibility that we will ever have two future guards (at the same time) greater than both of them, well that remains to be seen.

I have a similar sentiment about the bookends. Quite fortunate to have had them and unlikely to have a similar tandem again.

Caught some of the Tulsa game the otheir night against OK.State, athletic, long, but they don't handle pressure to well.
granted I only caught about 10 minutes of the game. We play our usual tough D and now that we are starting to show sighns of shooting the 3 like we know they can I think we can win comfortably, 85-65. Tulsa will hang tough for about 10 minutes then our pressure will be to much for them.

In College I had a teacher that put math on the chalkboard and made it crystal clear. Likewise, 3G came here

and teaches better fundamentals than most. What that means is our squad understands that this is a team sport.

When there is the excess of 300 teams competing for the same goal, you have to have a special teacher if you

want to excel. We have spoken lately here on SN how fortunate we are to have such talented players. Along

with that, let's just say our Coaching Staff may never score a basket but they prepare our players to the max

to do the math from the chalkboard and apply the great instruction to the hardwood. Pressure will still again

lead us to victory.
