  • Weather has been warm and rainy in spots the last few days but will be cool (Florida cool mid 60s) tomorrow and warming up through the week.

    • Send in the reinforcements Shocker fans, I'm tired of seeing Alabama and ND types. I want to see Shocker Yellow.

Talked with a nice chap from Cinncinati who graduated from Ohio St, said he remembers WSU quite well :wink-new:

I might suggest picking up some bottled water when you get here, the Orlando municipal water supply has a distinct sulfur bouquet with hints of a chlorinated finish.

Phone number for tickets is 407-939-4263, purchase over the phone and pickup at will call near the arena. I believe you can purchase each session.

Ah yes. I do love a glass of artisan public drinking water. The Orlando water sounds like it probably pairs really well with the food at Spangles.

I'll still in need of tickets. Maybe I'll find fans from another team playing on the opposite side of the bracket wanting to get rid of tix to the WSU session.

I'm staying optimistic and looking forward to seeing some fantastic basketball.
Contact me via the PM, not sure how that works I haven't used it. I have 4 all session tickets and won't be using them as family situation changed and we won't be able to make it down.

          • There's Something You Don't See Everyday Chauncey

So today I was exiting a ride at Animal Kingdom and this older gentleman sees the Wu Shock logo on my shirt. He comes over to introduce himself as Walter, aka Gregg Marshall's father. We chatted for awhile about basketball and the team. Apparently he has been traveling to Disneyworld for years. A very friendly and outgoing man. Kinda' neat. It's truly a small world after all. :peaceful:

                  • Departing tomorrow AM

Plan to roll into Orlando around 8:00 PM.

Not sure how much of early games we will take in. Also not sure how much pregame lubrication will be required to watch game @ 2:00 PM.

Know we will see plenty of shocker faithful there. Always amazed how well WSU fans travel and back the team. Just flat out impressive.

Will try to send reports from the front line.

                    That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

                    • Wish I could be there too . . . Sigh . . .
We'll be watching and cheering from afar. Have fun, Shocker fans!

Expecting to get screwed by the officials?

                            • I'll be content just watching the game from my nice recliner on my big screen tv, nice and peaceful.. I just can't do big crowds, one of the reasons I've never attended a men's basketball game live. Here's hoping some of the newcomers get it going this weekend. USC is tough but beatable. I'd be happy with 2-1. Going 3-0 with a title would make me ecstatic

You ought to be able to go to SWOMO for a road game then.
