WSU versus Newman Predictions and Pregame Discussions

Here's the deal. Our defense shined versus Memphis and led us to a 71-56 surpass. Now we know we have

no red-shirt participants and I don't mind that at all. One of these days, the Shocks will be hitting on all

cylinders which will include the raining and pouring down of 3's. We will be playing Coach Potter's Newman

Jets this coming Sunday. Coach Potter has done a fine job coaching as he has went from Cheney to Kapaun

to Newman. As far as our beloved Shocks, we understand each game is a chance to improve as a team.

This will be another game we can have wholesale subbing in search of developing quality depth.

This the the type of game that only happens because WSU was holding out for a good opponent to finish the schedule and couldn't make it happen so they get a match with a local school. I have no problem with this since it represents the backup plan and it is far better than playing a really bad (say 300+ rpi) D1 team since at least this game doesn't affect our rpi.
