The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I'll be interested to see what Rollie's comments are, but if he's honest they should be along the lines of "We've played a couple of top 25 type teams, but we found out what an elite team looks like tonight".
Rollie Massimino might say that, maybe not. After all, Jay Wright is one of Massiminos guys. So Massimino may honetly believe Jay Wright has the best team of the three."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. Comparing the Shocker performance to Northwood's games at Iowa and Villanova
I believe Villanova was a regular season game.
Looks to me like we had the best performance defensively and played non-starters a lot more minutes.
Iowa Villanova Shockers Margin 41 43 56 FG% 30.0% 26.2% 31.4% 3-FG% 40.0% 25.0% 5.6% FT% 78.6% 82.4% 78.6% OR 11 12 8 DR 20 21 19 Tot Reb 31 33 27 PerFouls 17 22 28 TotPoints 51 50 55 Assist 11 7 4 TO 22 17 21 BLK 3 2 1 Steals 12 7 6 Player Minutes Number Number Number 19 or more 3 6 2 10-18 7 3 10 "I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. Did it get mentioned yet that FVV had 6 assists and 1 turnover? Baker had 4 assists and 1 turnover. If you throw in all of FVV, Baker, Cotton, Holland and Henderson, you are at 16:4 or 4:1. For all the other notable things about the newcomers we keep addressing, it's also important to address the fact that our guard play is ready to rock n roll.

Oh, and all of the rest of the turnovers came from Darius (2), JRS (2), Brown (1) and Shaq (1). I find an awful lot of comfort in knowing that Wamukota, Nurger, R Kelly, Evan and Tevin had ZERO all game. Having a bunch of forwards who can take care of the ball on a team with guards who have PHD's in taking care of the ball means this team isn't going to beat itself. I have no doubt about Darius even though he had a couple.
Here is some perspective on that. Last year against Oklahoma Baptist, our forwards had 7 out of 8 total turnovers for the team. Early (2), Kadeem (2), Chadrack (1), Shaq (1) and Wiggins (1). This year, our forwards had 3 of the 10 total turnovers for the team, and almost all of them came from the one guy who we have full confidence in going forward.
