Has Marshall had any walk-ons stay with the program throughout their 4 years? Might as well use up that redshirt year in case they want to try their hand at getting real PT at a lower division school at some point in their college career.

Most D1 programs have "invited" walkons whose sole responsibilities are being practice opponents. Once in awhile one will flourish and earn some real time.

Derek started with Turgeon for 1 year, stayed out for a couple, then finished his career with Marshall his junior and senior years.

That's what I thought, and I answered the posed question accordingly. Under Marshall, Brown played 2 years. Zach Bush has played the longest under Marshall as a walk-on, as he is entering his third season.

Henderson was in briefly in the 1st half. I think he's the one who got trapped in the corner before Marshall called timeout.

Game is over. No sign of Brown or Glass. I'm gonna go ahead and say that means something. Especially since we didn't struggle in the areas they provide depth in. Shaq didn't help Glass at all tonight.

I feel for Brown. Kid went to a Prep last year and stuck with the Shox and now it looks like he will have to wait another year to see the court.

He has to by dying to get some run.

I hope he doesn't get too frustrated, I have high hopes for him. I'm not sure minutes will be much easier to get next year, but at least TC will be gone.
