God bless Bill Walton and his drug addled stream of consciousness color commentary. When ever I hear him covering a game I have to stop and listen for a while. Sometimes it has an almost Gary Busey quality to it.

Originally posted by _kai_ View PostIt truly does, and aside from the occasional quality P12 matchup, Bill is about the most entertainment those games can provide. I think the exchange I referenced was happening during a wild and raucous battle of the pacific coast when it was a score of 40 something to 20 something with under 10 mins to go in the game and I 100% only watched because Bill's comments were just so captivating.

If not, how disappointing.

Kosich is one of my favorite Shockers from that era. He was fun, articulate, and energetic. I probably enjoyed the most his media persona following his playing days as those were very entertaining. He and Bucky Walters were quite a team. It does break my heart to read that there may be some sort of rift between Tom and the Shocker program. I hope it can be mended because I value Tom's contributions to the history of the program and I would love to see him partaking in the fruits and benefits of where the Shocker program is now. Once a Shocker always a Shocker, and to me Tom is an important part of the history of our program.Last edited by Shocker-maniac; October 29, 2014, 09:58 AM.ShockerNet is a rat infested cess pool.
