I hope this isn't a trolling trap that is setting me up for anything because I'm going to answer the question honestly.

I would pay $10/mo more. I'd probably even pay $20/mo. That's pretty premium for just one channel. I believe the Sports Package on Uverse (which includes a whole tier of channels) costs about $8 more/month.

The reason I'd pay more than market value for WSU games is because I'm a WSU fan and I want to watch them every chance I get. I think it's a pretty basic request at this point in technological history in a storied time in WSU basketball history. At the same time, I shouldn't be forced to choose an entire cable company (which is kind of a big deal and makes up a solid chunk of monthly bills) to watch WSU basketball. Why should I have sacrifice my choice of cable provider? It's a scheme, a scam, that probably a lot of people have fallen for. I'm not one of them.

Just give a freaking option to everybody. The whole Cox monopoly thing WSU is penned with is just horrible PR. Horrible.

You still don't get it and you never will. You aren't unable to watch WSU games AND sacrificing your choice of cable provider at the same time. I can't believe how dense a person can be to not understand what's going on. This isn't about ME. It's about the MAJORITY of WSU fans within the city limits of Wichita, Kansas unable to see certain Shocker games on their tvs through no fault of their own other than being FORCED into switching a cable provider they may not wish to subscribe to.

IF YOU PUT THE GAMES ON A LOCAL TV AFFILIATE, EVERYONE HAS THE OPTION TO WATCH WSU BASKETBALL ON THE CARRIER OF THEIR CHOOSING.

Logistics not withstanding, I wouldn't pay a penny out of principle to Cox for reasons I've probably listed on here a thousand times in the last 8 years on this website.

Would you like me to give you the breakdown of the different cable/satellite subscribers across the city of Wichita and state of Kansas? Are you really sure that the majority of WSU fans have Cox Communications in their homes? You do understand what the word "majority" means, correct?

I get the economics for the umpteenth time, simpleton. Learn to read and maybe you wouldn't come out looking like a lost puppy dog. I told you I understand the financial awesomeness of the deal for WSU. They want money. That's all they care about is money. It's all about money. The 40% of homes that have Cox and WSU are happy. WSU is always happy. Screw the other 60% that have to scrap around to watch a game.. or not even watch it at all. Not a great way to build a fanbase if you can't even watch a game on tv because you don't have the lucky cable company that's in the bed with WSU.

Yes it's possible and has been suggested on here numerous times. I believe you even responded to someone that said they did it. Plus, Cox works well. Perhaps you should give it another shot this decade? There is zero logistical challenge.
