I would say that most people see Randy's class (him, Jamar, Paul and Rob) as the turning point in WSU history. Those guys had talent and put WSU back on the map. It would be nice to see that class honored at a WSU game someday.
Agreed. Any long-time WSU fans recognize that class as the first foundational class of the program turnaround.

By the way, feel free to comment on the Sunflower's actual website. It has to be much cleaner there though. haha. Also, Talk Angry and the student newspaper are still looking for sponsorships. Send me a PM on here or email me at jskellerman13@gmail.com or talk_angry@yahoo.com.

I find myself starting a new adventure tomorrow from 9-10 a.m. Andrew Hammond and I will be co-hosting a new Saturday sports radio show for 1410AM KGSO. Make sure to tune in.

This newest path of mine doesn’t change anything though. I’ll keep writing “Shockers of the Roundhouse” stories and of course, Dustin Kuhn and I will get behind the mics again in the next month or so for a second season of Talk Angry.

I appreciate all of the Shocker Nation's support!

I for one have not forgotten Randy Burns, Rob Kampmann, Jamar Howard or Paul Miller; or Karon Bradley, Kyle Wilson, Sean Ogirri and Matt Braeuer; all great Turgeon-era players. We needed them to help us get to where we are today. Thanks, guys.

Here's the final and updated version of P.J.'s story. It's long, but it had a lot of interesting things that you might not know.

I am always happy to see our guys staying connected to the program and to each other. I absolutely love seeing the pride they have in being a Shocker and in the school. Good stuff.

I had a class each with PJ and Kyle Wilson, a bunch of classes with Paul Miller (b-school), and was in an off-campus group with Kampmann. I definitely remember them.

It seems players find out that way a lot these days. We've heard Turgeon wasn't that close to his players, so it probably wouldn't occur to him to tell them first before stepping behind a podium with his new employer's logo. I'm actually surprised to hear he scheduled individual meetings after the group meeting. I think that at least shows an additional degree of humanism than some of us might have given him credit for.
