So I think it's fair to say they are significatly better than the Valley was last year.

If you wish to compare team and/or conference RPI strength, you should be looking at the Rating number, not the rank number.

Didn't he have us at 17 last week?

Keep winning and keep dropping. Pretty funny stuff.

And we have two more really winnable games this week. That should drop us a couple more spots by next Monday.

I guess the good news is we are running out of teams that want to challenge us for the MVC title. We may wind up almost undefeated through St Screwus and that would probably get us into the top 10. We just need to beat UNI twice to get ole Seth Davis to believe. I'm actually not that bought-in on UNI. I was fearing @evansville more because they have two guys that are better than anyone on UNIs roster. Well, you saw what we did there...

                • Bizarre. Lately the bottom of the top 25 is such a mess that it seems like they're willing to vote in any of the "name" teams based on a single ok win. But to punish the Shocks in order to reward this is ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if K-State gets some votes next week. Also look at Gary Parrish's top 25. He's held us at 15th for at least two weeks now while teams moving up or down just skipped over us like we aren't even there. Like he just decided that we're 15th and that's that.

No problem. By tournament time a lot of teams in the tourney think the same way. Worked out well for us in 2013...

                    • AP voters casting their ballot as if WSU is the same team they pothole-ed in their ranking 3 weeks ago as it is today are straight-up not paying attention.

                        Exactly. And it's irritating.
