While it is frustrating to watch other teams get rewarded for 'not losing' while playing subpar teams, I really think WSU is slotted right about where they deserve. I would say this team is a #10-#15 team. Now, the way they have played for the last 3 games or so...its probably closer to 8-10. I personally have no issue with ND, Maryland, Utah, really I think #s 7-16 are all just about interchangeable. UNC being the weakest of the bunch. Just my opinion. *Referencing Top 25+1*

I think the top four rated teams are 6-8 points better than the next grouping of about
twelve teams of which you can throw a blanket over. I believe we are one in that
second grouping.

I agree and if we sweep UNI, we wil probably hit the 10 or lower area. If we take three from UNI and never actually lose again till the dance, meaning we are what? 31-2? I could see us hitting the top 5 again.

They may have actually earned themselves the ability to drop one road game now. That's also big. I don't think UNI will only be losing to us (and hopefully we do beat them), so they need a cushion.

Sadly, I pay waaay too much attention to polls. Still not sure what they ultimately mean, other than name recognition, which is important to some but not me. Looking at how some people vote, I suspect they use a dartboard or other worthless means of ranking. Makes no sense. My late new year's resolution is to stop paying so much attention to the polls. I'll see what our RPI ranking is; that seems more relevant and important.
