I don't know about you guys, but I sure like these types of recruits over your typical 4* and 5* Top 100 recruits that are usually signed by UK, Kansas, etc. (Yes I know Fred was Top 100, but he was added on late). These guys are the ones who seem to come out of nowhere and really have the attitude that Marshall (and the rest of us) is looking for. Not only are they talented, coachable, and willing to learn, but they are just great people on and off the court. These kids just keep impressing me more and more as they come in.

don't kid yourself, Marshall could do big things with the right 4 and 5 star recruits. Give it time.

I think Marshall is getting kids with top 200 skill, top 100 athleticism, and top 50 drive. He does a great job of developing the skill set over a two year period.

The skill is top 100. The only difference is the body size. FVV in a 6-3 frame is a McD AA. Baker's skill takes a back seat to no one.

I love our guys, but I'd take also take some five star recruits in a heartbeat. Over Baker and VanVleet? Probably not, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

You sound confused. Ron and Fred are or should have been 5 star high school recruits. Not enough was known about them or they would have been Burger boys.

I will take Ron and Fred over any 5-star recruit out there. However, if you want to give us some 5-stars in addition to our boyz, I'm very open to that.

I honestly think that Kelly and Brown are borderline 4* talent and were under the radar. Also, Tevin Glass was a borderline 4* guy in high school. His rating peaked in the 90s before dropping back to around # 130 in the country.

What would you rather have HS AA's or D1 AA's? We seem to be getting more of the latter.

I actually think Marshall is creating them out of who he gets. I mean, these guys are definitely good, but how many regular recruits who turn into incredible players have we seen? Is it really that he is THAT good at finding under the radar 4 & 5 stars or is it just that he is THAT good of a coach?

                      Pretty cool

I think it's a little of both. Cle is a great example of an elite athlete buying in to 3G's system. I think that 3G gets the most out of his players but those guys definitely have to buy in.
