bigs have serious potential, but aren't on last years level just yet Carter,Coleby,Lufile, and Cle.
Add Evan to the rotation (at SF for crying out loud), and that's how I see it as well. Henderson also oozes potential, but needs a year of seasoning. The talent of Morris, Glass, and Brown hasn't quite matured to the point of on court minutes yet, but they are scary good for players # 11-13.

What I noticed is those guys move well on the pick and roll and making cuts to the basket at the right time. They all showed good hands and made good moves to the basket in traffic. There won't be a whole lot of traditional post up offense. Shaq and Glass are the odd men out right now on the rotation, imo.
      Excellent post!

I think we need Henderson to be the true backup top Fred. Need to limit Baker's minutes at the point. Henderson showed me enough today that i think he can be the backup by conference play. Good vision and court awareness. Solid defense and rebounding. And a SMOOTH shooter.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Perhaps Corey will have a feel for the offense and his teammates by conference play. I would not RS him by any stretch, but minutes will be hard to come by.

They want to play Ron at PG, so he can improve his ball-handling and improve pro prospects (as he projects to play their at the next level). Eventually, Corey will be the main man at PG.

Ron called him "Big Bush" on the post game show…to distinguish him from ZBush…not because it's fun to say 'Big Bush.'

Zach is a nice kid but you won't be seeing him on the floor that much this year. He did play well though in his mop-up minutes today.

                      • Holy Toledo!!! We shot the lights out today except for throws. Baker was smooth as silk and if me needs a blow, Rian will be able and ready. Mr. Henderson sure shows point guard qualities out there
and can shoot the corner shot like Jamie Thompson back in the day. Nurger and Bush will be finer than a frog-hair inside and Kelly has a high-octane motor that will be revved up and ready. We have
a tough Non-Con set of games but appears we could go 8-10 deep with this squad. Yes, blending in at least 8 new players will be a work in progress. However, I truly like what I see and our
returning players can lead the way.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

I disagree. The more minutes Baker gets at the point the better he becomes at it. Which is important for, one, the ability to have two viable 1's on the court at a time (something Marshall's always liked), and, two, important for Baker's NBA future.

Baker's already one of the three best PGs in the Valley. There's no need to limit that role for him, unless we're having significant trouble scoring with the other guys on the court.

We can and should get CH minutes this year. No reason we cant have three guys getting regular minutes at PG.

                              • Where would out bench finish in the Valley?

                                PG - Henderson
                                SG - Holland
                                SF - Brown
                                PF - Kelly
                                C - Nurger
                                Backups: "Bush", Glass

                                Seriously, Top 5?
