  • Cle back out there to start the 2nd quarter. Looks like he might be earning Fisher's trust.

    • Nice assist from Cle.

That was sweet, and right off of him bringing it up after grabbing a rebound.

        • 0 for 4. What's in Cle's mind? "That next one's going down.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

              • Losing streak hits six games. Cle was in all of 2 secs tonight.

Knicks now at 2-7. Three more losses, and he well have equaled his total number of losses in his two years at WSU.

                • Upsets me to see Cle with a DNP or zero minutes while Tim Hardaway Jr. Is lighting it up... 1-8 and 18 minutes. Would love to see Cle get that much time and a shot every 2 minutes.

                  • No disrespect to Cle, but THJ was NBA All-Rookie First Team last season. He can definitely ball.

Jason Smith and Travis Ware however....

I think Cle could be All-Rookie First Team if he were to get 20 mins a game.

                        I wouldn't bet against it.

Playing behind Melo though, it will be tough to get that many minutes..

                        • Playing behind Melo, it's going to be tough to see the ball at all, the sunlight, or any wins. Dude is the most overrated competitor in the history of team sports.

Maybe they will trade him for Kobe.

That way Melo can "shine" in LA and Kobe can ride out his career with the Zen Master and D-Fish.

                            • Do yall even watch Knicks games? Melo isn't the problem. It's JR Smith.

The guy is HISTORICALLY known for being a ball hog and not even running plays, and again, he CLEARLY didn't run the play that Fish called for last night to end the game.

The Knicks need to get rid of JR Smith or he needs to buy into the system that Fish and Phil want which is the triangle, and they haven't ran much of that all year. It's just a really bad team all around, chemistry and team roles being the biggest.

And the only way Cle gets more playing time is if they pack it in and play for draft picks and getting new guys development. Or they bench or trade JR and move Cle down into the 2, but he'll still be behind THJ there too.

Yeah, Carmelo may take a lot of shots but he's actually better than normal passing the ball this year. He's averaging more assists than he ever has for a season, even though his shooting percentages aren't very good. JR Smith on the other hand is a pretty talented player, but a complete headcase that does not help team chemistry. He's the anti-Marshall player if that makes any sense, from his on-court antics to serious offenses off the court to flat admitting defense isn't for him.
