    Who knew?

I'll be in attendance and probably shaking my head at the turnout thanks to our esteemed marketing team/efforts.
I know it's kind of your thing, but I've seen advertisement in print, radio, tv and social media. If you haven't seen enough to know when/where/what's going on, you probably weren't someone that was going to go anyway. I'd rather the nationally recognized media department save the athletic department the 20k it might take to rustle up 150 more butts in the seats and just apply it to Marshall's salary/program development.

I'm going but have seen zero pub for it. They did briefly mention it on KWCH this morning, but that's just media reporting, not even WSU self promotion.

Whatever. If Marshall is happy to see 1500 there for a 35-1 celebration, then so be it.

      ... No really, deuces.

For those who can't make it or are out of town, Channel 12 will be streaming the celebration on kwch.com.

I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure they'll put it up soon.

I post it when I see it.

It sucks that I wasn't able to actually make it there. I'll be trying to watch online now, but unfortunately that doesn't physically fill a seat like the team really deserves.

I only get the hourglass on the channel 10 stream now. If anyone has found the channel 12 stream that they keep talking about, but haven't linked anywhere on their web site (that I can find anyway), could you post it?

I had to watch it on the kake.com stream. I never did see an actual link to the stream on kwch.com. I saw the link to the article about the celebration, but never saw a stream.

kake.com shut down their stream right before they played the 3-4 minute video at the end of the event.

I would estimate the crowd closer to 2,500 and thought it was a poor turn out considering the last two seasons (heck the last 5 seasons) we have had and considering these kind of functions are an easy way to show Coach Marshall that he is really loved. And no I don't blame the lack of marketing. There was plenty of notice and public announcements unless you live in a cave. These are the kind of functions real fans seek out and mark on their calendars. They shouldn't have to be led in by a nose ring. I was really quite surprised the turnout wasn't substantially better. I will say the Shocker fans that were there were enthusiastic and did a great job so pat yourself on the back if you were there.

It was a nice program and well done. Derail Green did not attend and Kadeem Coleby was unable to be their also.

Sky William introduced as part of the team.

Coach Marshall seemed totally comfortable and at ease. Said we were not finished and he expects things to only continue to get better.

Took Don Hall about two minutes to read all of the Coach of the Year awards 3G won this year.

Fred was totally humble and really deflected mucho praise towards the senior class.

Enjoyed the video and slide show.

Anywhere from 2500-4000 in attendance; IMO, still a 'great crowd' for an awards banquet... especially a month after the season.
