So you just decided to drop that previous comment on this thread randomly? We have a debate going on about opinions, you make a comment about opinions, but I'm supossed to think your comment had nothing to do with the ongoing discussion and I'm not even allowed to ask you to explain your opinion further in light of the said conversation?

It was a very general comment about how opinions can be expressed. It is not necessary when expressing an opinion to "reply" to another person's opinion and establish a debate over it. Opinions can be left as what they are. A discussion can be held without debate.

Just look at your post here. You put a question mark at the end of a statement. I did not address you nor any of your posts. Why can I not have and express my opinion about the general feeling I get when reading many of the posts on this board? There, that was a question.

I was trying to have a civil conversation with you and then you had to turn it into all this mumbo jumbo about paranioa and guilt.

I think I agree with a lot of what you are trying to say, but your decision to try to preach your opinion about civility while simultaneously deflecting from a very straightforward question has me baffled.

Most of these conversations could never be construed to be debates. An exchange of ideas and or opinions often wind up being nothing but pissing contests and if no one has noticed its too windy out to have a pissing contest. I know some just like to keep the pot stirred but really enough is enough. State your opinion and let it go. If someone has a different opinion let them have it. If you need to clarify your opinion fine but if you can't get it right the second time then you are SOL If someone has a question ask it but I learned a long time ago that if you corner something the only thing that happens is they will fight you tooth and nail. If thats what you want then shame on you but I am really close to going the ignore route on several people. I really don't want to do that because I believe everyone can add something to a dialog but these types of confrontations are becoming more the norm.

I never limited what I was referencing to this thread, or for that matter, to you. If you want to keep stirring just for the sake of stirring or having the last word, then go to Tsrget, I understand they have a sale on wooden spoons which are great for stirring. As for the last word, your next wor is it, as far as I'm concerned.
