Something tells me that we won't be attempting to use Mo Evans as a bullet point when presenting all the perks of coming to WSU to a recruit.

This thread is ridiculous. The center for Evansville is not getting drafted in 2014.

Excuse my ignorance, but what constitutes a lottery pick? Top 15?

Top 14. The lottery is made up of the 14 teams that don't make the playoffs.

In the NBA the top 8 teams in each conference (16 overall) make the playoffs, so they get the last 16 picks of the 1st round. All of the 14 non-playoff teams are entered into a "draft lottery" where they are given a certain number of ping-pong balls in the drawing based on their record (worst overall record gets most balls, 2nd worst gets second most, etc). This system is in place to provide the worst teams with the greatest chances of getting the 1st overall pick without guaranteeing a team that they will get rewarded if they were to lose all of their games on purpose.

              So basically top 14 pick.

Edit: oops, Shock Therapy beat me to it

Chad Ford of espn has Cle ranked 22 on his big board. Baker at 35

is there a realistic chance Baker could leave this year?

                          Yes, but highly doubtful.

I don't see him leaving until next year at the earliest. He's one year away from graduating and isn't quite into the guaranteed money in the mock drafts. And he is probably still more likely to stay for his senior year than leave after his junior.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I mean there's always a chance. But Baker's stock is likely to only keep rising.....wise for him to stay
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Baker needs to show what he's capable of as the prime scorer. If he performs well under that roll then his stock will surely rise.
