Thought Cle was the first non bcs player picked but then I saw marcus smart from osu taken ahead of him.

Yes the same site had him at 27 or 28 the week b4. If Cle has good work outs I think he moves up. His biggest asset IMO is that on the biggest stage against the best teams he was the best player on the floor two years in a row. That spin move he put on Randle with 2 minutes to go was nba esque .......only problem was he missed the bunny. Ugh

One other thing...any team that takes Dougie over Cle should fire their GM the day after the draft.

Korver has had a long ass nba career.

Sorry. Happen to think Doug is a great shooter -- an all around basketball player time will tell. Can he learn all the other aspects of the NBA game -- we'll see. You'll be bummed if Doug is taken before Cle in the draft -- why? It all comes down to (just like in football) what skills you need on your team and what player has those skills. There will be teams where Doug fits in better and there will be teams where Cle fits in better. It will, in large part, depend on how Cle performs in the work outs (and I think he will do JUST FINE). Doug has been the scoring machine all season. Cle was on a team that was a "team" and therefore his points per game were shared. Could he have scored 20-25 pts a game if he was trying to stack his stats -- sure. But Cle is a team player and did what was best for the team. I would love for Cle to be a lottery pick. What an honor (and think of the money).

Maybe Cle will end up on HCGM's (and mine) favorite team. The Boston Celtics.

He'd fit in well with Stevens and could play a huge part in the rebuilding of the great franchise.

If Cle has a career comparable to Korver's then he's going to be a rich, rich man (if he manages money well). Not seeing the need to diss Korver or McDermott. Dougie will make a lot of money in the NBA.

Good for recruiting if Gal, Toure and Cle can hang around in the League for an extended period of time. Maybe we cam lump in Mo Evans too, it hasn't been that long since he's been out of the League.
