The ones who've been good to us: Thanks, really... not all of the fan base is bad.
No offense JD but most of our fan base ISN'T bandwagon/walmart fans...UK fans have been born and raised in a state that doesn't have a professional team. The state of KY has a rich history in basketball. I think if you take any fans from a less populous city/state the passion becomes magnified.

Most of the "idiots" people refer to are couch coaches that either don't understand the game or try to relive their glory days.

I can guarantee most of our fan base will surprise you with their knowledge of the game and will be glad to talk college ball with you. We all have our idiots and bandwagoners. Want to figure out which fan they are...ask them their 2 favorite UK teams of all-time. If both are during the Cal years, you'll have your answer. Most will answer '92, '96, '98, or '12. If the fan doesn't mention one of the 90's teams they're new to the scene.

BTW, shirt purchased. Congrats again and look forward to following the program more. Any talks with the major networks about showing the Shockers more next year? Conference moves?

Also, I guess I'm a "bandwagon" fan in regards to the Shockers. So be it. Expanding your fan base will strengthen your program.

I myself grew up a fan of the UK teams of the early '90's... My personal favorite was the '93 team with Mash, Ford, Martinez, Prickett, etc...

Living in KY I would love to say all fans here are great, but sadly, I would say 50-60% are not... I wore my Wu hat to work tonight and got mostly crap from Louisville, Kentucky, and Indiana fans...

            I guess it's semantics... It was '92-'93, but I call it '93

To me the '92 team is the Unforgetables
