      • Kentucky was one of those what-if teams with lots of high quality losses. They always had potential, but their numbers and actual wins didn't support a seed much higher than what they got (but I do think they should've been more of a 5/6).

Nevertheless, go Dayton. I want to see more footage of your ridiculous students getting turnt.

        • I've watched a lot of games this year. The 3 best teams I've seen so far have all been in the MW regional.

UK, without Cauley-Stein, beat Louisville, while playing a game substantially below the level of game they played against the Shox.

So far, UK's best game they've played was against the Shox.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

              • I know this is a little of the recent topic, but I'm in Sydney right now and a little out of the loop, but I'M SO GLAD THAT CREIGHTON GOT BOAT RACED BY BAYLOR. Next season we'll be dancing (again) and they'll be looking up the ladder @ all the Big Priest teams.....ROFLMAO!

Now, I'll be rooting for KY to win it all...and look forward to next season.

                • I just don't think I can bring myself to cheer for Kentucky. Hate Calipari and don't like the elitist attitude of most Kentucky fans. I really don't want to see them in the Final Four.

                  • I have absolutely 0 problem with cheering for Kentucky. Their fans seem respectable. You have to appreciate what they are doing, the committee hosed them as much as they hosed us. In order for Kentucky to win the title, they will have basically have had to play 5 games regional final caliber or better. Further, after last week and tonight, everyone knows we were for real even if we aren't continuing to prove it on the court. That will go a long way for us in the future. Additionally, Indiana St. and UNLV lost to the eventual National Champions, I don't want to be the odd team out of that group, so get it done Kentucky.

And to that point, not that it means much, but it would make me feel better knowing that the last 2 years, we lost to the eventual national champions by a combined 4 points. Despite the disappointment, it is comforting to know, that 1 more bounce here or roll there and we may very well have been cutting down the nets. Pair that with the best returning backcourt in the country, and the sky is literally the limit.

Sorry, but I was not rooting for you, unless you are a member of the Kentucky basketball team. I wasn't even particularly rooting for the Kentucky team. I am still rooting for my beloved Wichita State Shockers. The Kentucky basketball team just happens to be the current proxy for the Shocks, especially now that Tennessee has been eliminated.

I don't really like Kentucky. The same applies to the Ohio State, Xavier and Cleveland State teams.

                      Go Shocks!

                        • This is I why I want Kentucky to win - I believe this in my heart . . .

Bobby Knight told Mike and Mike on Monday - "I think Wichita is the best team in the country and I think we may have just watched the real National Championship game (WSU-Kentucky) for this year."
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

                          • So now that we know the matchups, who do you think will make the Final Four?

I'm thinking Florida, UConn, Wisconsin, Michigan.

But I want Dayton, UConn, Arizona, Kentucky.

                            • The Flyers messed up my bracket that was already jacked up. It was nice to see them beat mighty Ohio State. Sometimes you can run, but you just can't hide and then you get exposed. They really 'had me at hello' beating the Cuse but I went deep with the Orange. How about the 10 point win versus Stanford while playing 12 players in doing so? Yikes!!! Don't these Dayton players read what the experts tell us, or what? Florida better come to play because Cinderalla is being contrary, cosmopolitan, and coquette.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
