Am I correct that if Memphis upsets Virginia later tonight that all of the ACC teams will have been sent packing?

      • I guess the Shocks aren't the only ones whose run of perfection came to a halt today.

Nobody’s perfect – in life or the 2014 NCAA basketball brackets. But Brad Binder gave it quite a ride, notching 36 correct tournament picks until he lost.

        • Looks like Dayton may be the only Cinderella left at the ball after tonight. Mercer got smoked, SFA getting smoked and Gonzaga will probably get smoked...not sure if anyone would quality Memphis as a Cinderella or not I guess I would for this year.

          • I'm done with this tourney except for following Dayton and Memphis from afar. If either makes it to the elite 8 I might tune in. Hope Dayton's run can continue most of all--what a ride for them to beat local rival OSU then Syracuse on the first weekend.

            • I wonder how much Warren Buffett collected as a premium for the policy he (Berhsire Hathaway) issued to Quicken and Yahoo to cover their Billion Dollar.

Warren wins again. Considering the odds I doubt that he charged them more than a few hundred thousand.

All joking and rivalry talk aside, it is absolutely amazing to me that Creighton has never made the Sweet 16. National Player of the Year has to take this game over.

                        • I always end up feeling like a dick when I'm cheering against a specific team to brighten my day more than I'm cheering for a team to brighten it instead. But in this case, I really don't care. Results-wise, it's been a real shitty basketball day for me. Watched the early-bird special (10AM tip) NIT game, only to watch my Illini sleepwalk through a 50-49 loss. Then the result of the Shocker game. So I've been pretty grumpy for a little while, and have been saying that a Baylor beatdown of the blowjays was the only remaining game result that could salvage any of my day. And I must say that I'm smiling quite a bit, so I must say so far so good. :D

                          • Just a little FYI, the Blowjay team and coaches plastered #playhappy all over their locker rooms the last couple of weeks.

I hope you come out of the locker room really happy, down 20, posers.

Wow. That is an epic fail. Let's see if it takes off the same way as play angry.

Forgot to mention the third: whoever is playing Creighton. Looks like that rooting interest only has about 20:00 minutes left.
