No doubt, I don't enjoy the tourney much now that we're in it. It actually felt odd to be on my couch last night watching part of it, as I hadn't done so since after we lost to VCU.

The thing that makes watching the tournament so tough now is that when you watch games all you can think of is that the Shocks are every bit as good as any of the remaining teams and perhaps better than some. There is no question in my mind that this Shocker team had the goods to go all the way. It just shows how tough it is do actually do that and shows that you probably need a couple of lucky breaks along the way to make it happen.

You just about have to watch the Louisville - Kentucky game don't you? After all these are the only two teams we have lost to in the past 12 months.

True. If we are in any other region we are playing today. If a few shots vs. UK don't spin out we are playing today. Unless you are just curb stomped (which we haven't been in years) then you will always look back and say "if only". Better to be lucky than good, however the NCAA champion is usually both.

Could be. What I do know is that I want Kentucky, as much as it pains me, to steamroll the rest of the tournament and just freaking blow everyone out. This whole thing is all about the Shockers to me. I don't care about anything else. I want Kentucky on the podium saying that that Shocker team was unbelievable. That was the final.

I'm in the same boat. I want Kentucky to come out and steamroll Louisville to shut up an insufferable Louisville friend. Also, I want to see as many analysts as possible pointing to our game as the defacto national championship and the best game of the tournament.

How so? Don't they always have pairs of games from the same location on the same network, to simplify their programming if nothing else? So they know exactly how long they'll have for their studio shows between games on a given network? And the Louisville-Kentucky game is the marquee matchup of the four today, so it's no surprise they want it on CBS, so the other Midwest game would be on CBS as well.
