  • Those first 10 minutes were fools gold. Pitt doing what Pitt does. Surprised they're still within 10.

    • NCAA true seed list had Kentucky as the 1st 8 seed...just 1 move up the line and they would have been a 7 seed and avoided this game.

      25. Texas

      26.UConn

      27.Oregon

      28.New Mexico

      29.Kentucky

      -----------------

That is how I seeded them

Just to point it out, though, Kentucky had the worst record against the top 50 and the lowest win total of any team on that list. Same is true if you included a column vs top 25. Kentucky's entire resume is the 51-100 RPI teams.

                      Awesome.

We really need more sites that hold the "experts" accountable for their picks. You shouldn't be able to call yourself an "expert" on ESPN if your picks are consistently lower than, say, the 80th/90th percentile nationally.

I was telling all my buddies that I didn't think that Pitt was that good, but just that CU was that bad.

                              I haven't seen a worse 8/9 seed than Colorado.

Colorado didn't get punished much for playing without Dinwiddie. Unfortunately, they were a pretty good team with him, but crap without him.

Pittsburgh is the one team that makes me consistently question KenPom. I don't know if their consistently high KenPom rankings reflect a weakness in the KenPom system or just a massive weakness in Dixon having his team ready to play in the postseason.
