I think it's pretty safe to assume it's true. If they haven't yet, they either will, or just aren't doing their jobs very well.

Yup. Coach Marshall is the (unanimous?) National Coach of the Year. Why would any school with an opening not talk to him? There's no reason to get worried about any of this.

A lot of schools will try to talk to him, now and in the next few years. I'm worried about maybe six to eight of them, and I don't think most of those will open in the next few years. And, quite frankly, I think Shaka Smart is higher than Marshall on most lists for those same jobs, although that might change soon. Shaka simply has a better media image.

Alright, I hadn't said anything about it until now, but I have to get it out. Not sure about anyone else, but Bob Lutz has been annoying the hell out of me for years. Just his entire writing style in general, with the "I know more than you" tone to it, drives me up a damn wall. I've been trying to avoid any of his columns whenever possible for the last couple of years, and I get oddly upset for a few seconds when I realize I am reading one. It also seems like he's becoming a bigger jackass on a monthly or weekly basis, if not a daily basis at times.
