If UK gets this season vacated in a couple of years do we get to claim an undefeated season?

Yep, 36-0 and don't think I didn't think of that to soothe my pain.

At least this team would keep making history. The only team to end the season undefeated, but not win the NC.

Granted he took his team to a final four and his teams are good but everytime someone wants to go ga ga over a non bcs coach it is Shaka. He had one very good year but I just don't see every non bcs school getting compared to Shaka and VCU. I think he is a short fused kind of guy who is gracious in winning but a total butt in defeat. First game when they won he was willing to talk and shake hands but the next year after the loss we all know how that turned out. Me, I'm not a fan and he would probably really fit in with the rest of the big priest coaches.
It is only because their first choice, the country's hottest coach, is not available!

Didn't actually graduate from Kentucky as indicated on his resume.

LOL at anyone that still lies on their resume.

                      • Corrupt activity just follows Pitino. Surely Rick knew that about Masiello. Surely.

I can't take credit for this line, but it was definitely worth sharing. This is just further proof that the words "Kentucky", "basketball", and "graduate" rarely belong in the same sentence.

                          • How is the graduate rate calculated? Are the one-and-done players not counted against a school's graduate rate?

                            Comment

                            • I believe that it is calculated by the number of players that sign and enroll to that school by the number that graduate in 6 years. So if you sign 4 freshman and 3 graduate in that time you have a 75% graduation rate.

                              • But what happens in a case like Kentucky where they sign 5 each year for three years and each of those years at least 3 of the one-and-done players leave? Doesn't each school have to maintain a certain percentage in order to qualify for post season play? If your one-and-done players (over the course of 6 years) is more than those that graduate, what happens then?
