I wish people would stop saying that the "NCAA" did this. My understanding is that the committee is made up of athletic directors with oversight from the NCAA. Furthermore, there are more non-BCS ADs in the group. For that particular conspiracy to be correct you'd have to accept two realities:

1. That the non-BCS ADs are out to screw their own "kind".

2. That this group of diverse ADs, as a group, care enough about a few extra dollars going to an organization they probably don't care much for, to collude and conspire against member institutions.

Keep in mind, some of those non-BCS AD's stand to gain from having non-power conference schools, if within their conference, doing well.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the TV ratings for our games in the tourney last year among the highest?

They were, hence why we will be on CBS on Friday night instead of some other network.

It's always about the money. But I think it's more about putting a team in a location that their fans will travel to, even if their seed doesn't make complete sense.

Our region could have been tougher; think of having KU and Iowa State in our region instead of Duke and Michigan.

I also think Michigan State is better than Louisville.

Mich is seven spots higher than Iowa State

Coincidence...I think not

This might have been discussed elsewhere but Coach Marshall a couple of weeks ago said that one ACC school was willing to schedule us. That school was Wake Forest. Coach also said “To be honest with you, we don’t think they’re good enough,” he said. “They don’t help our schedule.” Coach also said that if the Wake Forest job opened up "They would have to have a Brinks truck” full of money. I personally think the Wake Forest AD, who is also Chairman of the NCAA selection committee was a little butt hurt, hence the crazy difficult midwest bracket.

Andy everyone is picking MSU to win it all and no one is picking Louisville.

Several folks picking Iowa State to make the F4; haven't seen anyone pick Michigan.

And I think KU is better than Duke.

For as far as we know, Louisville could bounce out of the first round. Now, is that actually gonna happen? Doubtful. But sh*t happens.

I like a good conspiracy theory, but I figured Kentucky and Louisville would be in our bracket in the same spots they are.People get too wrapped up in seeding based on team quality. Seeding is based on resume. Louisville's resume wasn't that good, despite clearly being one of the five best teams in the country late. Weak noncon schedule killed them. And from there, geography determines bracket placement. Obviously we got Kentucky, Louisville, Saint Louis, Tennessee, and Michigan for the Midwest. Duke is the only surprise to me ... They should have been in the south with Creighton or Iowa State in our bracket.The Midwest is just a strong area for basketball. With the emphasis on geography, a one seed here was just going to be rough.

The conspiracy could be less about WSU and more about the other teams. WSU just happened to be #1 seed to end up in this wreck.

No Conspiracy imo. However Glockner seems to have facts and his facts don't add up. The best 4,5,6,8,9 all in the same bracket sounds like incompetent at best.
