Play In Game: Cal Poly versus Texas Southern

We hosted the SWAC tourney at the Toyota center last week. Looks like I should have been paying a little more attention to Texas Southern. I know they have a really good big man in Aaric Murrey. The guy is like 6'10" 245 lbs, averages 21 ppg 8 rpg, while shooting 32% from 3. Besides that I know nothing about either team.

As far as Cal Poly, I don't know exactly where it is, but that area between LA and SF is pretty awesome. I don't know about paradise, it is beautiful.

We had a series with Texas Southern a few years ago but of course they've had a coaching change since then so I doubt their team is too similar. We did play Mike Davis's UAB team in 2007 (snow game) and at IBA in 2011. They play a lot of zone, right? I don't know if I'm confusing them with someone else (Southern Miss maybe) but I feel like I remember them playing a lot of zone.

Cal Poly I haven't watched and know nothing about, but sounds like they're pretty hot right now.

You sure your not thinking of Southern Miss who we played at IBA last year? I know they played the whole game in zone

Southern Miss always zones but I feel like I remember UAB doing it too, but I don't remember for sure. In any event I'm confident in this team against any type of defense
