Yep, this is all I really care about on Thursday. Such a huge difference financially b/t going #30 vs. #31.

Spurs, Heat, Celtics, Raptors, Suns, Hornets, Rockets...whoever is willing to take him in the 1st round gets my full support.

The operative word, of course, is "mock," which is about the right response to most such predictions. This is like getting all worked up over whether Joe Lunardi and his fellow non-committee members have WSU in their brackets. If and when the GMs and their personnel guys reject Early, I'll be disappointed. Until then, who cares?

Maybe I just have been getting my numbers/mocks mixed up, but it seems like he has been consistently dropping across the board and we're getting close to draft day. Joe Lunardi doesn't matter in December but if he has had your team in his bracket for 6 months and then mysteriously drops your team out at 4 PM on Selection Sunday, you better be worried because he always gets those last minute changes right and it certainly isn't due to his "expertise." I hope that's not what we're seeing happen here.

I have not watched the NBA draft, well, ever. I guess a couple minutes here and there, but nothing of significance.

It will be fun to watch this year. Looking foward to it, and hopefully many drafts to come with a Shocker flavor.

I trust the so-called NBA experts as much as I trust the so-called NFL experts. Mel Kiper said that Johnny Manzel would go #1 to Houston. Where did he end up? Late in the first round to the Browns.

Oh, and in case you thought that this was a rare mistake, Kiper also was cheerleading for Houston to draft David Carr #1 the FIRST time they picked #1. We all saw how that ended up.....

I hope Cle will go in the first round. He is a classy young man and will represent whichever team he plays for well.

This is just a rumor, but a "trusted source" (okay, it's myself) has told me the real reason why LeBron and Melo are opting out.

They are both waiting until they find out where Cle gets drafted. Word has it, that's where they want to end up.
